This CE-certified system uses our latest controls design and currently resides in Europe. This tester is designed to evaluate very high speed dry gas compressor seals for both production and R&D purposes. Like all others we have built, this system can run an API-692 test in automated mode or manual mode. Under all circumstances, the required separation and ramp pressures are maintained.
All support equipment such as oil pressure, temperature control and safety is automatically configured for both the test system and the seal under test.
This particular tester has a high-speed torque meter to evaluate running and break-away torque. The main drive motor is capable of full torque to lift off the most stubborn seals and can operate smoothly all the way down to 5 RPM
